2012/13 Panini Limited
Panini's back on the market with one of the 3 products left on tap this year for them. Limited this year had a complete design overhaul. They have a few new insert cards and updated a few hits. Most notably updated are the Net Presence cards from 11/12 that have been split into two tiers: Net Assets, which is a piece of the net and two pieces of jersey; and Net Crashers, which is a piece of net on a single player card.
This was an extremely long process (12+ hours) but I got it up here as fast as I could. Hopefully this helps you out! Remember: Limited is one of the toughest products to choose teams for, and you can hit it really big in some of these breaks, but don't be surprised to be shutout.

Big Hits:
- Shields:
- Manufacturer's Marks:
- Net Assets:
- Trophy Winner Autographs
The Other Hits:
- Net Crashers - A piece of the net used in the 2011/12 Skill Competition featuring a single player.
- Phenoms Rookie Autographs - The RCs in the product that feature a manufactured patch with the team logo that is signed. Has versions /499, /49, /25, /5, and /1 (Not for all players, but for most)
- Monikers - A new design this year places them on fabric like Phenoms. Look for short-printed ones like Lindros. Same thing with the versions, /99, /49, /25, /5, /1.
- Limited Duels - A puzzle-like card that has two players that piece together. Cards are /99 and a gold version /10!
- Board Members: Acetate cards that are /299, and feature parallels that have a piece of the acetate cut out /25. Very cool.
Team Breakdown
Limited this year has a focus on teams who have history. Trophy winner autos have that set/team collector feel to them, and around 490 1/1s. There are studs and duds, but this is without a doubt the hardest product to draft your team in.
Flop's Top 3:
Limited is such a go big or go hime product, that there really are few teams that are worthy of this. So I guess I'll throw the 3 that come CLOSE to it. So, instead of the usual go big or go home, I'll put the teams with the biggest hit potential.
Only 1 sleeper due to the fact it is way too tough to draft for this product and the sleepers I would be putting up are not sleepers. Once again, very tough product without seeing a lot of it.
Flop's Top 3:
- New York Rangers: The team with possibly the top rookie in 12/13 product is finally my #1 team in a break. It took a lot, but with the second most amount of cards and a good amount of veterans, stars, and rookies, you'll more than likely be very safe picking them #1
- Detroit Red Wings : Alright, not going with the Flyers. Why? Gordie. Howe. Howe has some stuff in this, and pulling his auto is an insane feeling. Combine that with their winning history, and you've got a lot of nice stuff in the product.
- Philadelphia Flyers: Well, they have a ton of stuff, and a tone of good stuff. Being a well-collected team with volume, they are never a bad pick.
- Honourable Mentions: Pittsburgh Penguins, St. Louis Blues.

- Montreal Canadiens: They are here again. Once again, big hit potential, and a lot less of a risk. If you get one of their rookie redemptions, you will be laughing. They are a very strong team, no need to be ashamed of picking them.
- Edmonton Oilers: Alright, call me lazy, but they are still a bit of a risk. Don't expect them to hit a lot of good stuff consistently. However, when they do hit, normally they will hit big. Also, like Montreal, that rookie redemption. Yakupov. 'Nuff said.
- Pittsburgh Penguins: The ultimate example of the high reward team. Crosby and Lemieux Trophy Marks will be huge, not to mention some other stuff like shields of Crosby... Just some scrub stuff right?
Only 1 sleeper due to the fact it is way too tough to draft for this product and the sleepers I would be putting up are not sleepers. Once again, very tough product without seeing a lot of it.
- Dallas Stars: These guys have great volume, rookies, Trophy Winners, etc. They seem to be consistent too, which is a good thing.
- Washington Capitals: Some huge stuff... but also a very big risk. Very, very big risk. Could be really good, but also a very good chance of a shutout.
- Florida Panthers: Besides a rookie redemption, not a lot for FLA in this.
- Columbus Blue Jackets: Well, they have rookies... and not a heck of a lot more besides base and stuff. Might get the odd jersey, but not a heck of a lot here. Sorry CBJ fans.
